[size=12pt]Has anyone got a firsthand testimonial on the Yo-Zuri shrimp in use? I am just to cheap to go buy one to try out as an experiment.
What have you caught with them?
What colors work best for which species?

Yes, i have been secretly slaughtering with them since their first day of release some months back.
Use the dark brown one. I have tried them all, and caught on all. They have brown, white, tan, pink, blue and even yellow glow n the dark, but brown one looks like our native inshore species.
I have caught more than 50 specks on the brown since its December 2011 release. Everything hits it.. have also caught ladyfish, bluefish, redfish, black drum, jack crev, guaguanche, spanish, puffer, flounder, and even some sheepshead and a couple of kings.
Hooks are very sharp, and it swims very lifelike. Fish are easily fooled. When people couldn't catch specks in the shallows this weekend, i made one cast with this lure and got the strike and landed a speck in the shallows--even i was amazed, because they didn't seem interested in eating.
Its worth th $15 as long as you are careful and don't lose it.
The barbs will break if you use pliers. Try to remove the hooks carefully.
I also had a sheepshead and a puffer bite two in half, so the hard bodies can be broken with the right fish. A redfish also swallowed one and broke off the diving bill.
I'd say this is the most universal lure you can use.
I used them in Tampa. Surprisingly, the thing I caught the most on them was flounder. Not sure how, but I couldnt keep the flounder off it to catch Specks and Reds.
I have thrown one off the pier, but you have to get a lot of distance to make it work. I would think it would be killer in Little Lagoon.
I hear y'all, but I just gotta see to believe enough to fork over that kinda dough ???

I have even caught stingrays on this lure.
Do it, #er. Just get one, the brown one.
I also found some other smaller and effective shrimp lures at Bass Pro that are only $3.00. Not as good, but good enough if the bite is on.

I dont know the technical color name without looking at the box, but they are simply brown in color. Brown top clear bottom. In #ers 2nd link, when you see the photo of the 3 guys, one on right has blue, one in middle has the brown. Gulf shores walmart carries them at the cheapest price so far.

Thanks for the feedback, guess I gonna get a rootbeer!
