Zippo & zippo
I fished AL. Pt, under the bridge, yesterday & nothing, talked to a fellow who had fished the seawall & he got nothing, there were 3 boats by the pilings under the bridge and I didn't see them catch anything but a pin fish. A yaker was cruising around and I didn't see him catch anything. Today I fished the West Pass out of Little Lagoon on the Gulf side, nothing, saw 2 guys throwing something into the surf below the mouth, but didn't see them catch anything. Talked to a family of 3 that were leaving when we came down and they didn't catch anything. Then I came back and had a beer, should have started earlier.

flyguy I have seen you for two years fish your heart out in Jan & Feb with not much to show for it than cold hands and feet Try a trip in April/May or Sept/Oct when you really can see what fishing in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach is really all about November can also be great March is iffy but if it starts then that's good too

Thank you DAN S II for the compassion and I would love to do what you stated, BUT, the reason I come down here is to avoid the cold MN. weather. I find it difficult to fly fish in Jan. & Feb. back home. The fly just sits on the ice!!! I can fly fish from the middle of March until the end of Oct. up there. In fact March is usually the best time to fish up there, very few fishermen at that time. I would love to get into the Sheepshead run the end of March and in April, as well as the King run in the Summer. If I would have only won the Lottery, it would happen.
Someone had lodging on the forum, I thought it was you, we plan on coming back next year. Were looking for something in OB. Who ever it was let me know, I would be interested.
