A couple more
My biggest pompano to date. Almost 19" nose to tail. Ate on of the first ghost shrimp that I ever slurped. The other picture is of some sort of tiny crab that hitched a ride on David Allison's float.

Personal bests are great, always trying to one up yourself.
Ragnar Benson:
Never, under any circumstances, ever become a refugee.
Die if you must, but die on your home turf with your face to the wind, not in some stinking hellhole 2,000 kilometers away, among people you neither know nor care about.

It's called a jig-n-fly. it's deadly when you tip the jig with fresh dead shrimp.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
