Croaker picture -
I forgot that I had taken a picture of one of the croakers I caught the other day. They were all about the same size, and all caught on fresh-dead shrimp.

A solid 14" croaker!
There was a Marine Resources guy on the pier yesterday taking oolith samples.
He weighed a croaker for George that was just over 2 1/2 pounds!

Don't care what anybody says, they put up a great fight. They were the best fighting fish I caught my 3 weeks down there, and I caught a bunch, better than all the "glamour" fish ,I caught. Dying to come back. Nice fish.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
