Dick I had trouble with my linkage once and it was in the shifter control box....had to replace everything to the motor as on mine it was all connected together , just couldn't replace the box.... so they said....and I played with it after the replacement and it would hang up every now and then....so it needed replacedQuote:

No, that is what I want to get my dad. The other boat I have is a older 190 Searay ski boat with a closed bow. It has awesome lines and shows well. I bought the boat a while back for the motor but fell in love with the boat so I did a total rebuild on the motor and did some minor upholstery work all it needs now is some tuning and adjustment of the shift cables and she should run like brand new. As much as I love the boat I will probably end of selling it at some point.
8 ft seas ? ....How did you measure them?
8ft is just an estimate, could have been 7.95ft but I forgot my wave gauge in the truck.
I am 6' 2" and when I stand in a boat and can't see over the swells, 8' is a good estimate.
