    2 J&M custom king rods, one Offshore extreme cobia rod

    All 8', all new. $120 each for the J&M king rods and $100 for the cobia rod.

    The pier will reopen one day and these will come in handy.

    These are still available. My recent rod building addiction is freeing up some inventory.

    Hey, David: Just out of curiosity, what is the difference in the specs between the king rods and the cobia rod? Also, my understanding is that cobia rods typically have large, chrome wire guides without inserts. If true, why is that?

    Both are 8', the king rod has a much slower (softer) action. The large guides-especially the first or "stripper" guide are that size because the spool of the reel typically used on either rod will be large and it allows the line to pass through more easily
