I've got a Penn 750ss that I got from the Reel Doc. Never fished it appears to be in really good condition.

Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
Rain/Red minnows shortage this...
