Looking for Penn 712Z - trade or buy
I am looking for a Penn 712Z or just the gear set to swap out in one of my 710's. Cosmetics don't matter much, but a smoothe gear train is a must.
I am willing to buy or trade. I have several surf or pier rods to choose from.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

Here's a lifetime supply of parts. You can thank me later. Just prepare to spend 15 grand.

Sonny only has one bail screw for the 712...
I had really hoped to swap a rod for a beater. Not a biggy for this trip, I have an extra 712 that I can rob the gear set from temporarily for my next trip.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

Thanks John G. - I have plenty of 710's, just want to find a set of 712 gears to put in them. Increases the retrieve ratio and gets about 5" more per turn. Helps w/ bubbles, jigs and avoiding the Tax Man....

SOLD. Thank you
