dont think u can get that much 4 a black spool, sorry, will ask around though.
it is in great looking condtion functions good write?
Yes, it works and looks great. All a person would have to do is put it on a rod and start fishing. I think I have a buyer; if not, I may take a little less for it. Thanks Rodbuilder.
SOLD
if you dont mind me askn was it for askin price
if you like 704's it was a good grab,,black spools usually more desirable..would hate to part out a nice reel like that but the parts were worth the asking price..just saying..
Steve, why are black spools usually more desirable? for collecting or fishing? thanx
Yes, it was sold for the asking price off Craig's List. I really don't know why black spools are desirable. Thanks.
i would guess for collectibility because they are older, more easy to restore, and they do look nicer all the same color. personally i would want a black versus a gold because all original black spools have metal side plates and only a few gold spools have metal side plates this of course would make it worth more if you part it out cause that is all the are worth to me.. it is the same for like condition 706's, black spools bring more money most of the time unless a googan who just wants to be like the crowd is buying it..
