Penn 114HLW 6/0 Wide Senator and Mariner Rod
Penn 114HLW 6/0 wide Special Senator with full aluminum frame in very good condition. Currently spooled with clear 50lb Berkley Big Game with an 80lb Big Game topshot. Matched to a like-new Penn Mariner 6' standup rod model 660CHST, 30-80lb rating in immaculate condition. Reel has new HT-100 carbon fiber drag washers lubed with Cal's drag grease for high performance. Includes graphite reel clamp.
This would make a very versatile setup that can be used for trolling, heavy bottom fishing for AJ's/grouper or a very fine shark combo that is a manageable size. The reel has seen very little use and the inspection sticker is still on the reel foot.
***$150***

You forgot to mention it is a made in USA reel, the China reels have had some issues. Retail on the reel is $179.95 and the rod went for around 80,so once you add tax to it,the combo is worth almost double the asking price. Somebody needs to jump on it.

I agree with John, this is a great deal, and Dutch's reels are very well maintained.
I finally had to hammer out a deal and take that beautiful NIB 12/0 combo off his hands... Watch out sharkies!Ragnar Benson:

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
