Mint NR Mint 2 Pack Penn 6500SS Metal Spinning Reels USA | eBay
Again, Ebay is a good place look.
I just picked up a NIB Penn 9500SS on Ebay for good price, gonna put together another heavy surf rig.
I have a new heavy rod i got off Pier boy with the big eyes if interested I gave him $80 and will take my money back havent even used it,,,,I guess im a tight wad i keep bidding on ebay just havent gotten one yet
Specs on the rod?
I know what you mean, I do the same with most auctions.
Once in awhile someone will post a 'Buy It Now' with a great price, this time I just happened to be on top of it.
Danged 9500ss reels usually go for way too much.
its an 8 ft challenger blank medium heavy all re-wrapped
8' a little shorter than what I desire, thanks anyways.
Hope you score a 650ss at a good price.
I have a penn 750ss in good working condition. If interested hit me back
Thanks but i want to get another 650 or 6500
i found a 650ss in my step dads barn along with 3 other penns, some of which are very large and have harness hooks on them. he gave them to me under the condition that i clean them up and use them. SO is the 650 a decent reel?
In my opinion all the older Penn Spinfishers that are 'Made In The USA' are good to very good for their price range, better than many comparable counterparts, new or old.
I have and will continue to pay as much or more for an old Penn 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation Spinfisher on eBay, Craigslist or elsewhere, than buy a brand new 'Made In China' Spinfisher.
I did break down and try a Battle 5000, it has already malfunctioned once and was worthless until fixed, I no longer trust it.
I've never had a 1st or 3rd generation Spinfisher malfunction, and I fish six of those... 704Z, 4300ss, 5500ss, 7500ss, (2) 8500ss and a newly acquired 9500ss.
Yeah, I'm a Penn fanatic.
Next on my acquisition list are a old 115L 9/0 and 113HLW 4/0 and a 113HN 4/0 Baja Special is on my wish list.
I like all my penns too ChiliRelleno
Had a speck of dirt on my computer screen....glad you spelled penns right!!!
