Ironman, if you have some others.... swap the gears out of the 710, and throw in a set of 712's.
712 - 4.1:1, 45mm dia w/full spool
45mm= 1.77 in
1.77 in x 3.14 = 5.56 in around full spool
5.56 in X 4.1 = 22.8 in/handle turn
710 - 3.6:1, 50mm dia w/ full spool
50mm = 1.96 in
1.96 X 3.14 = 6.18 in around full spool
6.18in X 3.6 = 22.25 in/ handle turn
710 w/712 gears = 4.1:1 w/ 50mm dia w/ full spool
6.18 in X 4.1 = 25.3 in
may not seem like a lot, but makes a world of difference w/ looney's and bubbles.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
