Design a drag for the 306?
The original drag for the 306 consists of a spring that sits directly on a plastic washer or spacer of some sort. Not even a teflon washer (or if there was it's not there now and isn't on the schematic). I'm hoping that I can come up with a better solution that might stand up to a few kings while i'm in Gulf Shores. I Was thinking about using a few ht-100 washers sandwiched around steel washers that are fitted to the axle/spindle (round with a flat side). Not sure if I need to keep a spring or not. Any of you do it yourselfers have a thought or two about this?

There is a guy on eBay that sells a HT-100 drag kit upgrade for 302s, he might have ones for other models such as the 306. The Fisher Man is his name.

I use him for a lot of my Penn Z parts.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
