Re: Hey Penn
It does stack the line well. I walked off a couple of hundred yards and reeled it back on as you see it in the picture. Really the only mod I had to do on the arm was drill and shape the hole for the roller shaft. Tried it out a bit today and it works very well.

Re: Hey Penn
Is there a parts kit coming in the future, or at least a step-by-step set of instructions (even I think I can drill a hole)?

Re: Hey Penn
No kits available, the first problem would be sourcing the Penn 706 roller ( I have plenty but most folks don't and "they ain't making them anymore". The second problem is the hole isn't just a round hole, it's actually keyed for the roller arm.

Re: Hey Penn
Obie
How do you think a 302 roller would work.
They a readily available and dont cost an arm and a leg.

Re: Hey Penn
A Mitchell roller has a significantly shorter shaft so the arm would need to be further modified in order to mount said roller.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
