New Rod Rack
15 year old wooden rod rack on my cart broke this saturday. So I rigged up a new one today.
$10 worth of pvc, conduit straps and screws plus a scrap piece of plywood. Added to the hand truck I bought for $25 to use as a pier cart back in 1990.

That old hand truck has been toting coolers & rods onto Gulf Piers since 1990, so I think it has taken my gear a long way. Couple of miles at least! Originally Posted by usa

Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
Rain/Red minnows shortage this...
