    Ironman gaff goes green...

Paint that is. This has been a lucky gaff so it got painted in lucky green. I was going to try to powder coat it but didn't know how to cover that much surface. Photo bucket wouldn't let me orient the picture.

Looks as good as powder painted to me.....

wish I could have painted them all, but time would have never aloud for it.....as it was the baking went on in an empty house(the Bride wasn't here) for the few I did paint

they say (Pro Tec) that there aren't any fumes from baking it, and really there wasn't any smell so maybe they are correct

for those who might want theirs powder painted

heat with heat gun till the paints starts to melt and paint on with a small hobby brush .....you will know when it's hot enough....paint a little and reapply some heat then paint and heat till that area is done flip 45 degrees then repeat....also I use a paper plate under it when painting only(not heating) to catch the off flow that falls off before adhering to the hot lead saving the mess of powder and can be reused.....if not removed while heating it will be heated and lost for future use

I like them paint for identification(the ease of seeing) and to keep some lead residue off my hands in case having a bite to eat through the day
