    Need reel advice

    I was fortunate enough this weekend to win a Jeff Bearden custom rod, he said made to throw X raps.
    I need advice on a good reel and line. Rod is 8 ft batson blank.

    I would go with a Penn Battle 5000 or 6000

    Good choice, go with the 6000 cause I have a 5000 and its just it's done okay so far but I'd feel more comfortable with the higher mono line capacity of the 6000
