I realize this is a bottom of the barrel reel but I like the vintage cheap stuff if it can be fixed. Just for the heck of itI Purchased a Ocean Star36 off eBay it was cheap and looked even worse. I got reel for 14 bucks including shipping. Open the bail end and cleaned for a day and it looks good. My problem is how to open the side. I have removed the side screws and the handle what am I missing? This is the black model and left handed only. There is a peace that was under the Handel but it does not appear to turn.

I have done several internet searches and find nothing to help with disassembly. Would apperivate it if you can help with disassembly. Thanks
