Rod refinishing
I'm looking for someone to refinish an old two piece rod . It has been stripped ,guides removed and handle has had a shrink wrap added . I need to have the guides put back on , wrapped top coated . The rod has little value, except to me ,so Im looking for something in the cheap range . Anybody interested ,let me know .I will ship it to you and will pickup this March .Would be a good chance for someone starting out to practice their craft.

I would be happy to help you out with it, I have been building rods for 40+ years. I will be in GS 1/7 and be there until 3/7. Rather than you sending it up here, I can bring some equipment down and we can do it down there, your place or mine. It might cost you a beer or two but that's about it. You may be better if you put new guides on it rather than use the old ones, they have a tendency to grove if they have been used a great deal. What color thread would you like? If you want I can order the guides or I may have some that will do the job. What is the weight, length and # of pieces? Is it a spinning rod or a bait cast rod? Let me know.
