penn 710 bail spring
hey guys, I need some help. I was trying to clean up my penn 710 and now I cant get the bail spring back in, any suggestions would be helpful. thanks

Be sure the spring isn't damaged.
Most common is for one of the ends to break off.
And I remove the bail (but I'm not sure that is necessary).
The 'common' end goes into the groove on the rotor cup,
and the 'perpendicular' end goes into the hole in the bail arm.
Seems you may have to rotate the bail arm to engage the spring???
