I want to have a new net put on my( two ring pier net )and have it dipped . Several months ago somene mentioned that Brunson's in Gulf Shores did that kind of work . Just wondering if they could do it while I was there this Fall ? Have no idea how long it takes or what kind of schedule they have . Any info or contact number would be GREATLY appreciated!! I just picked mine up from Brunson Net in Foley yesterday morning. It is also a two ring net. I left it there last Wednesday around 4:30pm. I think they dipped it late Friday, so the dip was a little wet when I got it and still is today. They charge $25 to replace the netting with a heavy cargo net material and dip it. The netting looks much stronger than the original netting. I also had them replace the rope, so my net was completely rebuilt (only the rings are original) for $35. Haven't tried it yet, but it looks like they did a very good job.
As Fin suggested, you can call and ask about their fall schedule.
The folks at Brunson do a heck of a good job at a reasonable price. They are friendly and give excellent customer service. When they tell you to be careful if your net isn't quite dry, pay attention---that stuff they use is powerful. Had mine done this spring and it has had a ton of use with no wear at all. Good people to do business with.

Had mine replaced and dipped also. As already stated, they are good folks to do business with and I am very satisfied with mine. They also sell pier nets, so if they can't do yours while you wait, you may get some kind of trade in deal on a new one. Mine stayed "tacky" for about a week, so I'm guessing getting it done while you wait may not be an option.
What are they dipping it in, making it rubberized? I'm not familiar with this.
Everyone, thanks for the info . I emailed Brunson's and received an immediated response telling me the price . Suggested I drop it off on my way into town and they would have it ready in less than a week . SOOoo during that down time I will be at the mercy of kind strangers .
