Ghost Shrimp sucker / attwood bilge pump
So my walmart has some manual bilge pumps made by attwood. they look great and are on clearance for 5$. I think it would work great for a shrimp sucker.
I could add a valve on the water exit nipple and control the amount of suction delivered.

You will need to remove the strainer on the bottom. Then more than likely modify the one way valve in the piston, since sand would make it a by pass valve. There is no need to put a valve to limit suction, you control that by how hard you pump it.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
