rod blanks
what is a good blank for spanish, gonna build a rod for the first time.

ive got a bunch of mudhole blanks for 20 bucks

Mudhole blanks are ok for someone on a budget but they offer very little as far as a lot of choices on actions, power, length. MHX a lot of choices on smaller species fish. I use a 7' MHX ML action blank for spanish and it is a nice little rod.

MHX has some good blanks. Just built one of there high modules for a guy who drop shots for bass and he says he can feel every rock and log on the bottom

My spanish rod is just a ML action ugly stick, great action and handles every spanish ive caught so far, great rod and cheap

If you have the money and want to put it into the rod look into the batson xp964 or xp844.

Im with OPP on this, Batson rainshadow all day long, I love my IP844
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.
