Rod Guide Question
When you measure a guide to see what size to order, is it inside or outside diameter? Dumb question I guess, but I don't know....

I go by the chart.

Never have wondered if it's inside or outside, guess I never ordered one that close. If you print it you can lay one on it and compare. Seems like it would have to be inside, the outsides vary so much.
Edit: Now that I read, there are instructions under the diagram.
The guide sizing chart shows two circles for each size. The large outer rings represent the inside of
the guide frame. The smaller inside rings represent the inside of a ceramic ring.
For guides made without or missing a ceramic ring, use the outer ring to match the guide.
For guides with a ceramic ring, use the smaller circles to match the inside of your ceramic rinPeople are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
