Rod recommendation....
I've been using an 8' Blair Wiggins signature rod.... heavy, xtra fast, for throwing xraps and other plugs. I have it paired with a battle 4000 and 15lb braid. I'm not happy with this rod and am thinking of getting a moderate rod, thinking that it will do a better job on distance -- this rod just doesn't seem to "load up" well for casting, though I love the light weight. It may be something I'm doing wrong....
Any suggestion on a better rod for xrap chucking? Custom or store bought....

Buy a custom or store bought from J&M on your next trip down.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
