    special request

    Can someone take pictures of Haywires lure wraps .....to cover it and the hooks......wish I looked at them when I was there....I have an idea.... but a picture sure helps to do it right for making some

    I'd do it for you Bill but I'm home now. I know that a lot of folks make them (like Calcutta). It will probably be easier to get someone to text you the picture since it can be a pain to post them. I use pieces of pipe wrap, they will blow away if your not careful though.

    I took DanS ll's advice and ordered some from lure guard. Sure keeps the hooks and seats as well my arms apart.

    Never mind, I saw pictures on ebay with multiple demensions......maybe easier just buying some.....nah, time to get the sewing machine working......maybe use some nylon truck tarp for it,and velcro

    A piece of swim-noodle split down one side works pretty good. I usually pickup a few on clearance each year.
    They come in handy for various redneck projects.

    Google Lure Guards I searched through a lot of things and these work very well for me I keep everything in my Van Lures with treble hooks etc on rods and never have any tangles or hooks catching on everything Never unhook anything Pop them off and I'm ready to go Put them back on when I leave and put the rods in the Van and no tangles Really a blessing from what I use to put up with

    I like the lure guards better than the wraps because of the hook on the end.
