I've always been a 1911 and magnum revolver kind of guy... until i bought my wife a g43 yesterday.. I am now a Glock guy!! I love me a Glock so much i bought a g23 today. They are way better for concealed carry imho. even my micro 1911 doesnt conceal this good.
The weight, or lack thereof, is what really impressed me. loaded with 6+1(50grain limited penetration rounds) the g43 is slightly more than a smart phone and my bulky wallet.
anyone else like a glock? or not?

Yes. I spent 30 years in law enforcement and the last 15 as a plain clothes detective.
The Glock was by far the most simple, lightest and easiest to conceal than any other of the "good guns" I've tried. I also like its simplicity and ease of disassembly for cleaning. Never had a misfire/stove pipe or jamb of any kind and would shoot at least 100 rnds. a month. Good choice. Just like trucks, fishing reels or anything else though everyone has their own personal preferences.
I don't know why, but I thought I needed a big semi-auto handgun some time back and bought a Glock 22 .40. It's a great gun, but too big for me for everyday carry so it has a place of honor on my bedside table.
If I had a remnant of a butt to keep the gun from pulling my pants off, it'd be easier for me to carry it, but I've had a chronic case of the gone-ass ever since I was a child. I discovered the wonders of suspenders earlier than most, but even with them, a Leatherman and a cell phone on my belt are a threat for me to show a lot of plumber's crack if I don't wear long tailed shirts.
Sorry for getting off the thread, but I'm all in favor of Glocks, and when I win the lottery I will acquire a couple of the smaller ones for easy concealed carry. My Son-In-Law is a gun nut, (I mean that in a GOOD way) and he did some magic on the trigger of my Glock 22 and the pull is lighter and the return is faster---made it more fun to shoot.
90% of the time I carry a Glock 30sf. Definitely not the lightest or easiest to conceal but with my frame i can manage. Also have a 21 gen 4. The 21 has a lot less kick but bother shot great. I try to get out and shoot at least twice a month and have never had a problem with either gun. One thing I really like are the interchangeable mags. I dont buy 30 mags anymore, just the 21's. Throw a xgrip on it and its good to go.
I've been toting a G19 for about 15 years now. I own tons of guns (I would have to look at my serial number list to even know how many at this point), but the Glock is the only constant in my life. It ain't sexy, but it just flat works. I actually killed a doe with it (at bow range) some time ago.
