I used Skoal for 27 years. It was costing about $2800 per year for my 2 can a day habit$3.80 per can with tax. I bought a pack of nicotine gum for $45 and used it for a week before quitting cold turkey. Now I use that money to rent a one bedroom condo across the street from the beach for 3 separate weeks each year to come fish the pier. The per can price is anywhere from $3-$4 depending on where you buy it.

Thanks, its about the same price as a can up here. I went from smoking a pack a day and dipping ocasionaly to only dipping. I'm down to about a can a week. I really need to just quit but ain't ready to let go just yet.

Nothing like a three finger fatty right after supper! I think I ate enough sunflower seeds to sink a battleship but it got me through. Good luck if you try to quit and leave me a few fish if you come down.

I don't know about dippin', but quitting my 30 year smoking habit was the hardest thing I've ever done----correction, am still doing, since after more than twenty years, that bad monkey wakes up and screams every now and then.

I quit before for over a year then started back up for stupid reasons. I have tried quitting a couple times since then, but it seems harder now then it was then. I have a lot of respect for anyone who has quit or is trying to quit.

I have been off dip for 1.5 yrs. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. Quiting smoking was a cake walk compared to snuff. I still want a dip dont think that will ever change! The only thing that helped me was hooch herbal snuff and the patch
Tom, we really enjoyed hearing you two tonight at Post 44. We have heard you before at the Elks Club, but you were in particularly good voice tonight. That was as fine a rendition of "You Were...
