Favorite Places in Baldwin County to Eat Thread
Lets start a thread for the best places to eat in Baldwin County. Since this is a "Gulf Shores" fishing forum and alot of tourists come down and also drive through Foley, Fairhope and Daphne, lets talk about some good local places to eat around here to give them some ideas of where to eat and what to eat when they get here.
I myself am a foodie, and there might be places I havent heard of around here, so this for me as well.
I will start.
Favorite sandwich is from Gelato Joes in Foley, Al http://www.gelato-joes.com/
MY fav sandwich is the Ribeye Hogie. Make sure you ask for the special dipping sauce to go with it. The Club is also good, as is pretty much any sandwich they make. They also have killer deserts.

If you are in Fairhope and looking for something a bit different, check out the Dragonfly Food Bar. They have fusion style tacos and noodle bowls. Located right next to the pub. (Disclaimer, my sis in law and her husband own the Dragonfly ;<)) Try the oyster french toast appetizer!

That sounds awesome. What is the atmosphere like there?
Re: Favorite Places in Baldwin County to Eat Thread
Casual trendy place with indoor or outdoor seating. I probably wouldn't go in with my fishing shirt on :D but its real laid back.
Re: Favorite Places in Baldwin County to Eat Thread
McSherry's Irish Pub in Fairhope
Best Ruben sandwhich I have ever had
I also echo what Viking Guy said about the places on the Causeway (which is my neck of the woods)... It's been a long time and I know it still technically exists.... but I loved eating at Hazels on Hwy 59 and in Orange beach in the early 90's.

+1! With me being a chef, this is the kind of place I love! I also have to add Hog Wild BBQ across from Waterville to my list. His brisket is amazing!
