I came across a condo for a weeks stay the first part of April, $280.00 plus taxes and fees. Am I being suckered and will wind up sleeping in a tent on the beach or what?

Sounds too good to be true. Has the owner given you a quote? Sometimes VRBO listings are poorly kept and not updated very often. If it is legit that is a steal.

I sent him a request...have a feeling that's the weekly rate if there happens to be a hurricane or another oil spill that week. LOL! We'll see...

I see the listing and that is a rate based on winter monthly rates. "Snowbird" monthly rate of $1200 per month / 30 days =$40/night. I would think their spring break rates would be much higher.
