when I had my own business, the general rule was that 98% of your problems wete caused by 2% of your clients. Didn't hesitate to cut them loose when they became more trouble than they were worth.oke1: ....just sayin.....
Screw it. Let's ride.

Re: mod's job
Sometimes we accidentally delete stuff. Most of the time we end up moving stuff and it ends up getting lost. We DO make mistakes from time to time. So the chances are if you had a post deleted that wasnt absolutely outrageous, it was an accident.
I have maybe deleted 10 posts on purpose over the past year and a half, so it isnt a very common occurance. The other day I merged like 4 threads after splitting two into one. Chances are, some posts got lost in all that mess.
If any of us do anything that offends you, it was probably an accident. We dont even get involved with arguments until they have got really bad - something we should probably discuss.
Most everyone who has given us problems in the past, just didnt understand forums or whatever. After some guidance most all of them are just fine now. Its a learning process for everyone.
Traffic has been crazy the past 4 weeks, though. In that time we have had 30,000 visitors and 290,000 pageviews. To put that into perspective, that is 6000 visitors per mod and 58,000 pageviews per modAt an average of 50 posts per day, that is 1500 posts. That comes out to 300 posts per mod.
It keeps us busy to say the least. So in our haste sometimes, we make a mistake or two. Crap, I brought the forum completely offline by changing some of the code one time. It was only 5 minutes, but I screwed up!

I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.
