ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (WALA) - Operation Raging Winds will bring together numerous state and local agencies to prepare for the worst Mother Nature can throw at Alabama.
Long-line helicopter rescues - like the kind many saw during Hurricane Katrina - beach patrols, and other exercises will be conducted near Perdido Pass.
If you're driving in the area, officials ask you please don't slow down and tie up traffic. Traffic control points will be set up near the Perdido Pass bridge to ensure safety while the exercises are conducted.
Matt Barrentine will be at the training and have more details tonight on FOX10 News at 5 p.m.
