translation: The massive negative press after we announced he would sit the first half got to us.

He may be a fine athlete, but he needs a keeper off the field---needs lot of tutoring in how to be a person. ---No, make that, "how to be a human being."

Hard to believe a thug that can't even spell James was awarded the Heisman Trophy! If he was at AU or Bama, he would be history!

much harsher punishment needs to take place, otherwise people will just keep on doing it ....the sign of the times anymore ,very unfortunate indeed, people need to suffer for there actions, but the feel good people, can't hurt there feeling type seem to out number anymore, heck the minority rules anymore

I'm hearing there is some scuttlebutt on campus that this could lead to his being kicked off the team. Nothing firm but I'd be shocked if it's true.

What kills me are his defenders who say he's just a 20 year old college kid and should be cut some slack because that's what 20 year olds do. BS. When my dad was 20, he was preparing to ship out to Korea. When I was 20, I was carrying a rifle on the front lines of the Cold War in Europe. My brother (at 21) was a cop in Houston's worst neighborhoods. I gues you don't have to grow up till 30 these days.

Twenty years old is a grown man. Everyone has made mistakes in life, but damn, how about learning from em and not keep acting like a moron! I bet his parents are so proud of him.
