The storm has started to take more of a northerly track, just east of Corpus Christi toward Galveston, TX, according to some projections. It's intensifying, so the 11:00 update may show an upgrade, possibly, to hurricane status. Once it hits land, it's likely to make a funky loop and stall before dying out inland.

Bottom line - Texas and even western Louisiana are about to have some major flooding issues. That aspect of the storm is going to be awful!
