Lost & Found

Fellows,
I managed to fish a daiwa pole and reel, yesterday. I left it with the Pier office incase someone asks for it.
The story goes like this:
They were two guys fishing on the east side of the pier, yesterday, about halfway between the bathrooms in the middle and the octi. They were fishing right behind me. I gave those guys a couple of hard tails to use as bait. One of the guys dropped his tackle in the water, tried to recover but could not see it in the water at all. Anyway, a few hours after they left their spot, the tackle surfaced and the current carried to my side so I managed to pull it up.

I think you should check back with the pierhouse in a week or so (or your next couple of trips to the pier) to see if the owner claims the rig.
If they do not, it would 'rightfully' be yours.

Let's hope that one of those guys is a forum member or one of the members knows them.
It has to feel terribly bad to drop your main gear in the water and not recover.
I hope I don't experience something like that.
