Those things sure do work but dang I'm ready to have a night's sleep after basically 5 days of 30 minute cat naps. :boohoo:
That stuff affect anyone else that badly? :spank:

I have three herniated disks in my lower lumbar. Just something I have learned to live with.
ALEVE :yay: :headbang:  :yippee:
Mine is L5 and S1. Not herniated but do bulge from side to side about twice a year. Usually lasts a couple weeks but this one has been couple months. I swear it's amazing how fast it can put you on the floor when you turn wrong or one decides to make a quick shift. Wife said I look like Quasimoto trying to walk. :(
Take BP meds - aleve causes a spike. Ibuprofen 800 work well when I can get them
I cannot ibuprofen anymore from my first round with a messed up back. I was taking 3000mgs a day. Ibuprofen will actually make it worse at times because it causes the body to retain water within the joints. I found out last year during wrestling season that my back was in better shape than it had been in quite a while. I believe it was directly related to all the stretching we do during practice.
Screw the meds!
From my experience, if they offer the epidural TAKE IT!
Six years ago I was almost crippled by Spondelo Lithesis (@ L-4, L-5).
I couldn't stand for more than 5 minutes. ???
The first shot didn't take so they did a cadual epidural the second time and in two weeks I was back to fishing all day again. :headbang:
:yippee:
waiting to hear back on a referral as we speak to get it done
I'm sorry but no epidurals or back surgery for this guy.
Yea, well, when you get past 50 and your back hurts so bad it takes 30 minutes to get out of bed and get going, you might think otherwise. I was pretty much the same way 20 years ago but perspective changes
I have been through physical therapy as well as two chiropractors and pain management for mine at one time it would take me 30 minutes to walk 200 yards from my car to class. I understand the pain but I have seen it come right back after surgery with a friend of mine.
