Thanks for reminding what the day is about. When I saw the thread, I figured it was bad weather related, shame on me. This week , I've been too wrapped up thinking about business loss instead of thinking about the ones that gave their life so I can be in business.

I remember daily.....proud American here and appreciate all the service men and women that keep us safe on a daily basis....military, police,fire,ems....etc.....they do not get enough appreciation
But this weekend is for those that gave it all, and the family and friends they left behindbenhunts likes this.Bill..............

Do vets who survived their service and who have passed for unrelated reasons have a remeberence day? I know Memorial Day is for giving your life for the country, Veterans Day for our vets and Armed Forces for current enlisted.
Seems like we we should honor the fourth group with their own day too.ironman172 likes this.
