A Mississippi Fable
The late humorist Jerry Clower once told a story about a man from Texas visiting Mississippi on a quail hunting trip with his friend Marcelle. A rabbit jumped up and the guy from Texas laughed, and said, “In Texas our rabbits are as big as a Hereford calf.” A little while later a coon dog came running by, and the guy from Texas said, “Our coon dogs in Texas are as big as a quarter horse.” Later, they were going into town for lunch and a huge old loggerhead turtle crossed the road. As he swerved to miss it, Marcelle said, “What do you think about our Mississippi seed ticks?”
THAT'S a fable. The resurrection of Jesus Christ, isn't.
Happy Easter, everybody. Christ is risen indeed.

Re: A Mississippi Fable
as was foretold in Isaiah:
10 Sing to the Lord a new song,
his praise from the ends of the earth,
you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it,
you islands, and all who live in them.(RETIRED) mostly.
