At least winds will stay in the 10-15 knot range along the coast.

It looks like most of the strong storms/tornadoes will be north of here, moving up into North Alabama, Eastern TN and KY. There is a new projection of COLD WEATHER moving here about a week from Wednesday! Down in the 30s, they say.
Yep.....I will be down this Friday for 8 days. I usually make it down a little earlier for a fall trip but the j-o-b didn't allow for that this year. I fully expected some less than perfect weather....that's how I roll. Good or bad I will be fishing. When you have limited opportunities give it a shot. You don't catch many fish sitting in the condo.
Actually, the GFS looks pretty good. Mild winds Wed and Thurs should let the water clear, then north winds starting Friday and a high dominates for most of the next week with NE winds shifting towards east later in the week. NE to E wind is not the best for the bite, but at least the water should have a chance to clear and the weather will be nice.Quote:

Thank you. I usually don't look at the extended to closely until the day before I leave. If its cooler that's fine for me but I do feel bad for my wife, she likes it more on the warm side. I've had some great days fishing down there in January and February when it was cold. Plenty of room on the rail on those cold mornings!
