Foley Beach Express Bridge CLOSED!
Foley Beach Express Toll Bridge Closed
The Foley Beach Express Toll Bridge is closed until further notice.
Around 2:30am a barge on the intracoastal waterway hit the safety barrier of the bridge and knocked out a 60 foot section.
Orange Beach City Administrator Ken Grimes says the safety barrier did what it was supposed to do and the bridge piling was not hit.

Sure hope it opens back up before we have to evacuate for any reason. Nothing on the horizon right now, but you never know.

Toll Bridge to reopen:Both lanes will reopen at 1:30 drivers will not be charged a toll from 130 until 6 AM
