    off color turkey



    this is the first turkey I have seen on this piece of property. as a hen, she is off limits but I would love to see her.

    I spect she has company around somewhere....at one time we had 3 white hens on our place....one hen had a short beard...Hope you get some more pics of her...

    I enjoy watching hens with their young ones. I once saw a hen take off flying after a hawk that scared her brood---he got the message and went somewhere else.

    Does Tenn have a fall season? She would be legal to take here in Missouri when fall season opens October 1, if a person wanted to.

    Yes Tenn has one....I am not sure if it's statewide....Mississippi has one in certain counties...I love fall turkey hunting....but Miss outlawed my turkeydog....

    some counties have a fall season when hens are legal but not this county
