Reports?
This seems to be the summer of very few fishing reports. I’m not sure if this means: the fishing stinks, no one is fishing or the fishing is so good that no one wants to talk about it and draw a crowd.
God bless!

I think with tourist season in full bloom, not a lot of folks are fishing.

Well, I believe most of our reports came from semi-serious fishermen, I think they have cut way down or stopped fishing because of the limits placed by 1/2 a pier, if and when the pier is replaced I think we shall start seeing more regular reports

Fishing has been that bad!
Last week I went and to my knowledge not a single fish was caught from the mid platform or nub except some undersized flounder and one "barely keeper" (which was gifted to me).
My brother & I fished from 6:30 am till after 2pm and caught one trout each (17" and 16.5").
I saw PLENTY of Atlantic bumper (aka "Crazyfish"), but NO LYs, NO mackerel, NO jacks, NO redfish, NO bluefish, NO ladyfish, NO blue runner, NO pompano, very few mullet, and only one shark.
So there was a good side ;-)

It's not limited to Gulf Shores. I've been many times and not seen but a few hardtails caught. It's been a dismal summer.

Yeah, and just like that the telemetry from the site went down (at 1:06 this morning). They should get it working again Monday. Generally speaking, king mackerel are about our most sensitive fish...
