Sometimes one is forced to drive his tractor on the highway in the traffic (no cab on the tractor) and when one is unable to maneuver the tractor in the traffic because of pointy things sticking out from one's implement, one is unable to dodge roadkill. With those naked tractor tires spinningright next to one, the odor is very powerful and it lasts a long. looooong time. Unpleasant is a vast understatement, and when one has to deal with a following wind, the effect is mildly hallucinogenic---but not to the point of wanting to do it again. I believe I will find a good mudhole to start with in the morning, then look for moist dirt to plow.
I think the creature that caused the problem was a dog from the looks of the remains but from the pungency and staying power of the odor indicates that it might well have been a more exotic animal, like a Bolivian were-capybara. Anyhow, if you're contemplating buying a tractor, try to fit an enclosed and air conditioned cab in the package.
