You need to learn the difference between an argument and political discussion. You also need to know that I started this thread and didn't ask for a mediator. I'm plenty capable of taking care of myself. That said, unless you have something to add to the discussion, I'd appreciate if you'd stay on the sideline.

Exactly how is forcing Christians to pay things through obamacare that goes against their religious beliefs respecting their religious views? He's real good at respecting muslims, not so much Christians.Quote:

I don't care for or agree with the political views or tactics of our current president ,but with that being said ;he is OUR president and as such ,the office should at least commend a little respect and not be refered to as (trash ) .

he is NOT my president. he is a traitor, liar and criminal. respect is earned and he has earned none.
I always felt RESPECT was to be earned, not bestowed because of place or position.
Ovomit is unamerican.
Looks like it's about covered.....divedeep I hope and pray the situation with the sequestration doesn't hit you too hard in the coming days and months
and about guns.....you'll be able to have a single or double after he's done.....that's what he has said in the past...... that's all he thinks you need....... from his own mouth
The Obama Admenstruation biggest accomplishment to date is that they have managed to “hoodwink” enough people to divide this great country. Anybody remember what old Ben said, “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”. If America doesn’t stand up to this Admenstruation, we will go over one of the cliffs Obozo keeps leading us to, and we will fall.
Things were a lot better when we lived in the UNITED States of America.

I want the youngsters to participate as long as they ate contributing to the discussion. But there is beginning to be a facebook mentality to some of their posts and don't care for that at all. Senseless posts just to make noise need to go somewhere else.
I understand this might be old news, but this article puts the Department of Homeland Security's purchases in a very factual and intriguing light:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/ralphben...-conversation/
Meanwhile, it was announced today that the sequester is going to rob veterans of the college tuition payments they were promised as well as curtailing other benefits. Who wants to bet that nobody's welfare check or benefits will be reduced?
When Obama unleashed his gun control agenda, it is absolutely true that lots of folks started stocking up and the demand quickly exceeded the supply of ammo. But add in a 1.6 billion round order for homeland security and how long do you think it will be before we see anything back on the shelves? Forbes article wrote:
"Also reported elsewhere, at the height of the Iraq War the Army was expending less than 6 million rounds a month. Therefore 1.6 billion rounds would be enough to sustain a hot war for 20+ years. In America."
Love it Fin:
Obama Admenstruation.
If I had seen it prior, I would have said "the Ovomit Admenstruation is unamerican".
Rich1,
Your post is spot on.
Our gubmint seems to be gearing up for sumthin and it's unsettling.
Meanwhile I'm waitin on some fish to show up :fishing:.

your darn right they wont cut welfare, got forbid some of them acually get a job :wall: and the fact that they're messing with anything to do with the vets' tuition or anything to do with there finantial benefits just saddens me :'(, i mean i know that we have a bicameral legislature, but any one who would take money away from vets, and give it to give to idiots who won't get off thier lazy bums and get a job, is not a person
That last part about "lazy bums" Not everything is so cut and dry. Some people do play the system, but If there wasn't welfare do you expect the poorer people who were born into poverty or are just good respectable people who can not Physically work to be thrown on the street and left for dead?!?! Like Thats the mentality I can not stand. "If you aren't rich like me than your just lazy" Its like taking pride in what you do to a whole other level way beyond a healthy mind set. Now I will never change anyones mind, but just open it thats all. :horse: :shark
Btw You don't need more than a 10 round clip to hunt hell I use a bow ;) Now lets all be friends and AMERICANS and fish :yippee:
Man, you need to change your screen name to Mushroom. Stay in the dark, swallow the BS you're fed and be happy until the man comes and eats your ass. Wow.

who says I don't need more then 10 rounds....I might be a bad shot or like tenderizing my meat with lead....and who said the second amendment had anything at all to do with hunting....it doesn't ....it's about a tyrannical government that we have right now....and when things come to an end ......we all will be out in the cold and on the street ....the churches use to take care of the less fortunate....this is all about free and votes .....
I bet you like paying almost 4.00 a gallon for gas....the oil spill was a devastating thing but so was what happen after.....the gulf shutdown, keystone pipeline falls right there with it too.....all for green.....that won't happen in my lifetime....all the green companies that went bankrupt right after they got our money....all for payback.....keep your head in the sand my young friend and drink some more kool-aid .....
I hope and pray I am wrong, and really wanted him to be the best leader we ever had(didn't vote for him) but hope he would be the best and now will be the worst even worse then Jimmy Carter and those years sucked
I bet you like paying almost 4.00 a gallon for gas...
The higher the gas price is a sight of a better economy. Don't you know basic marketing? The More money around the more gas (or anything will be) The less money around the cheaper it will be. Its Kind of common sense. And The president dosen't control gas prices. Those are controlled by private oil companies. And the doomsday scenario? Your best bet is going deep In the woods and living alone where others can't harm you. :run

still are friends Jake....and face book I have and do unfriend a lot!!!!! I didn't know it bothered you that much.....I .....after awhile get tired of seeing some things on my page there and poof it is gone....I only have in the low 20's and mostly family.....it was nothing personal with anyone I have unfriended there, besides not wanting to see some things....I did it to a good friends wife....I just felt like I was getting spammed by some of what she put on there so poof it was gone....on here I just move on or don't open the thread.....on there..... it's there.....no comment on your idea of the gas price....it is there trying to promote green energy by this guy....It would drop a dollar in price overnight if he announced he was opening up federal lands to drilling or the gulf for that matter....you would see the valves open over seas to bring the price down so we wouldn't drill.
Heck I unfriended Rossman,James,Jeb .....never anything personal with anyone.....just isn't for me some things....at one time all got deleted .....I had my fill of facebook and was leaving .....but thought it was a good way to keep in touch with some family and close friends .....
sorry if anyone else took offense I unfriended on there

My plan exactly...... there is a reason for me buying the place in the deep woods....that a feeling inside me lead me to do so.....and that was before Odumba too.....I have learned to listen to the Lord and what is spoken to me .....to many things in the past I have ignored and regretted later by not listening to my feeling or something .....
just like one night, I woke from a dead sleep, with something egging me to go look at the basement.....yep it was right, just started to get flooded from the drain in the floor(storm sewer backup) and I saved all down there.....well most....the next door neighbor got almost 4 ft or water....I had 3 safes full down there....I listen to those feeling....as I said before..... I pray I am wrong, but it isn't looking good....there has been things recently that I thought could have never happened..... and has .....
since you are so good of a basic marketing manager .....what is 17 trillion dollars in debt and the printing of billions of dollars every months going to do when it finally catches up to this economy and country ??

I wish your theory of private oil companies controlling the price of crude oil or "gas" as you called it was true. There's a little more to it than that.

Well, knowing you're just a kid explains a lot. Up till now I just thought you were dense. You really ought to stick to discussing politics with kids your own age. Hey Fin, how about locking it. I think it's jumped the shark. I believe the kid is just trolling for attention now.
I deserve an opinion. I'm almost 17 I have a job. I may not be able to vote but my paycheck is affected too and I pay my own car insurance and gas. And no offense taken Ironman! I'm done with this tread shouldn't have opened it to begin with

You want things your way while believing I should be silenced. You'll be a good little goose stepper. Congratulations.

All you young fellows certainly have a right to voice your opinions, well at least that’s the case until the current admenstruation decide they don’t like the 1st Amendment either and try to take that away too. Hopefully the Washington brain trust will fail in that endeavor as they do with everything.
Having a job and paying for your gas and insurance is admirable, but isn’t a drop in bucket compared to what’s ahead.
Y’all will have a better feel for the economy after school is done and you are paying for your gas, vehicle, vehicle insurance, food, clothing, electricity, cable, home, home insurance, flood insurance, wind insurance, medical insurance, savings for emergencies, savings for retirement, and someday when you are married it all doubles and then come children and it all goes up again. Oh yeah don’t forget your and your wife’s student loans if you go to college. Hopefully you can get enough saved in your children’s college fund to pay their tuition so they don’t have to start their adult life in debt. Now I didn’t consider any expenses for enjoying your off days and vacations, might consider that in your budget too. Probably left some stuff out, but you can cross those bridges when they come at you out of left field.
And don't forget about the federal income tax, state income tax, property tax, tag fees, and if you are successful, you maybe encounter luxury taxes!
A couple of folks have asked for this thread to be locked, so since I just posted, I will wait until I crawl out of the bed in the AM to do it.
you sure paint a grim picture Mr. Fin.....wish you were around to give the real hard facts 40 years ago for me to read....might have made a difference in my life and choices made.....wow how time flies when your just trying to survive and get a little ahead ....thanks for the reality check .....wish I was 15 again and know what I know now :spank: :boohoo:
sleep well my friend .....in before the lock :headbang: :poke1:
