Missouri Feathers for Haywire!
My clock got cleaned last year, but I had a much better season this year. Very fortunate the Lord sent these turkeys my way. The first bird was not very talkative, but the second bird gobbled like we always hope they will.

Save em feathers for mackerel flies a/o bucktails for those bubble rig trebles.

I've not used turkey feathers for much. A few times used a small slice to pull a thorax back over a nymph, but always liked other stuff better.

Congratulations on a couple of fine birds, Kevin, and thanks for thinking about me with the feathers, but I'd really rather have a couple of whiskers off that fine looking cat walking across the yard. Only with the cat's consent, of course.
I really like that pose on the log. That's a good shot with the gun and with the camera.

Thanks. The cat is Hank. He's not the sharpest crayon in the box, but fun to watch sometimes. It was his first chance to check out a turkey.
