Snow and Cold
Fishing had slowed with the reduced water temperature so I decided to pack up and head North to the cabin in Northern Wisconsin for a holiday visit with my kids. The first couple days were beautiful with mild temperatures and lots of snow clinging to the pines making for awesome scenery. However, yesterday was -4, and today it's -7 with windchill of -20 to -30. I'm tired of it already, so I'm packing up and coming home earlier than expected. Born and raised in the North, I didn't know how I'd get used to the Southern climate, but quickly discovered how I want to be back and on the pier. Have a happy new year everyone, see ya'll in a couple days...

I am having more trouble dealing with the colder temp's lately ....the other day hunting, kinda windy I got a chill and couldn't get rid of it, I thought the temp's were falling quick, got down to the cabin and the outside temp was 35....so time to fire up the wood burner for some good heat to warm up
