The story continues... There were at least 7 birds around us gobbling on the roost this morning. Most were on neighboring property and not accessible. They would answer my calls from 300-500 yds away but wouldn't come in so I just shut up. After sitting there enjoying the beautiful sunrise and not hearing anything in the last hour or so, I let out a series of soft yelps and was answered from about 100yds away. There were 2 and I think I heard a 3rd one. After about a 10 minute conversation, one of them is 15 yds from the decoy. and she MISSED IT!!!
