Was thinking about hittin' the pier when Mary said……….
"Sure would like to have some charcoal grilled oysters!"
Well, about an hour later:

I could hear the slurping, snarfing sounds all the way down here at the end of Canal Road.

Rouse's in Gulf shores
It is really simple; shuck 'em, add garlic butter and parmesan cheese. As the butter drips on the hot coals you will get flames, and that's a good thing. After about three minutes of flames I close the lid for a minute or so and done!

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
