Jagdterrier... if a Chickahuahua could bite :)
My little girl wanted a small puppy for her b-day last month, so we set out looking. I knew her mother would try to get a yappy dog, but I was totally against anything small that barks.. as Ron Swanson said: "any dog under 40lbs is a cat, and cats are pointless". If i was buying another dog, it would be something that I could also use as a hunting dog....... since i would be the only one feeding and caring for it after the new wears off...
I have seen some online videos of ppl that hunt and do field trials with a very high drive dog called a Jagd(pr- yahkt, aka hunt in German). These little beasts are just that, BEASTS.
I picked one up from a guy that hog hunts with them and brought it home to a very happy little girl. We named her MAL, short for that fairy on disney.
Shes about 3 months now and is extremely aggressive towards anything that isn't a person. Her jaws snap like a foot hold trap, for transport around my place she bites my shepherd while he is running and just holds on with her jaws. She has killed every last quail on the property, and even the friendly trash opossum fell victim to this little devil.
anyone else have a Jagd on here?Nurse -- Father -- Falconer
