I imagine they have alot of people calling.
I have not heard of flooding but the rain has been very localized.
One place will get 2" in an hour and 5 miles down the road they got 1/8".
Another 2" at our house in the last 24 hours.
Isn't that special???
Thanks. Finally got them this morning and they had a little bit of flooding but no problems.

So what is the effect of all of this rain on the gulf? Water temps being down some I imagine is good, but how much effect does rain and run off have on clarity, salinity, and other factors?
Not much at the pier or offshore but surface salinity in Mobile Bay and Perdido Bay probably has dropped.
We got another 2.5" overnight Friday before it finally stopped.
Not a lot (so far)...

But 150-200 miles west of Mobile Bay the flooding is "unprecedented"!
